MVA23

Electrothermal actuator for zone valves and terminal units, without cable, connectable with CONTROLLI globe valves series VZS 2-way, VMZ 3-way, and VTZ 3-way 4-port. It consists of an expanding thermostatic element that, upon receiving a 230 Vac command, causes a piston to extend and push down the valve stem, overcoming the return spring of the valve body itself.

The difference between MVA21 and MVA23 is that MVA21 includes a cable, so MVA23 can be used as a replacement for MVA21, keeping the existing cable. The MVA23 product can also be used to replace previous Z600 and Z200 series actuators, provided that the valve on which the replacement is to be made has a brass-colored return spring. It also finds application as a replacement for the thermal actuator heads of RBM (R.B.M. S.p.A.) zone valves.

The D41 auxiliary microswitch accessory can be ordered separately; its function is usually to stop the circuit pump when the valve is closed.
